Capital Cultures is a free two-day multicultural festival planned for 7–8 August 2027 at LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa, Ontario, where each community runs its own pavilion and keeps what its counter takes. Permits from the City of Ottawa and the National Capital Commission are pending. A festival that has not happened yet is a claim, and a claim is worth exactly as much as the paperwork behind it. These seven pages are where ours is open for checking: the purpose, the people, the land, the record, and a way to reach somebody who answers.

Why this city, and why now.
Ottawa carries the diplomatic weight of a national capital and the everyday kitchens of a mid-sized immigrant city at the same time. One number holds the first half of that sentence, and it is the only hard festival number on this site.
